Our client is a leading global investment bank who is looking to hire an experienced Calypso Business Analyst to join their team in Singapore.
The Role:
This role is pivotal in managing the full lifecycle of our back-office Calypso applications, IT systems, supporting business operations, and enhancing our technology infrastructure. You will be responsible for analyzing and implementing enhancements, coordinating user acceptance tests, and providing expert-level support. This position demands close collaboration with business users, infrastructure engineers, and system managers to ensure the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our systems.
Qualifications and Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Calypso business analyst with expertise in Calypso back-office applications.
- Proficiency with Calypso versions v14 to v17.
- Deep knowledge of Static Data, Workflows, Scheduled Tasks, Confirmations, Settlements, Messages/Swift messages, Positions, Accounting, Corporate Actions, Filters, Reporting Framework, and Reconciliation features.
- Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and the trade lifecycle.
- Experience with regulatory reporting (HRF, NORIA, MMSR).
- Proven experience interfacing Calypso with external systems.
- Hands-on experience with implementation projects and AGILE methodologies.
- Experience implementing NR scenarios.
- Willingness to provide L3 support and participate in on-call rotations for night and weekend support.
