Description.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing software applications and systems in the fields of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), Integrated Security Management System (ISMS), Electronic Card Access Control System (EACS) and Video Management System (VMS).
You will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements. In addition to your expertise in system application, you need to possess a deep understanding of IT principles, networking, and system integration. The ideal candidate must have excellent technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
You will need to liaise with the client’s IT Infrastructure team for the recommended hosting environment for the provided systems. A clear articulation and consultative role in the required IT infrastructure model will be required as part of the daily conversation during the design, implementation, and maintenance stages.
Selected candidate(s) should exhibit self-starter with a positive and professional attitude with the capability to work closely with the Advisory, Sales, and Project Team to support the needs and requirements of our customers. You should be familiar with the sales bidding/tender process including the various stages and the deliverables required.
Responsibilities.
- Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and sales, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and track project progress against these plans.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans as needed.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders, including customers and senior management.
- Conduct regular project status meetings with project team members to ensure that project objectives are being met.
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete and up to date, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in project management processes.
- Adhere to project management best practices and processes, and continuously improve project management methodologies.
Requirements.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a system integration company or related field.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate project status and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software tools such as Microsoft Project or Asana
- Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or a related field.
