Executive / Senior Executive, Business Development
Responsibilities
Data and Market Analytics
- Analyze and interpret data to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to key stakeholders at a leadership level
- Conduct market research and market gap analysis for Ascott products in key priority markets for group development
- Prepare data highlights to support financial models on financial returns and performance tracking
- Develop key analysis and dashboards to track key metrics on internal deal tracking against competitor set
Communication and Tools
- Work across geographies and departments in Ascott to identify market opportunities and key narrative points for Ascott growth
- Preparation of Business Development collaterals to deploy globally to internal stakeholders and potential clients
- Systems Development and Planning – Manage global Salesforce rollout and data analytics from live deal tracker globally
- Work with Communications and Marketing teams to support in events management and planning
Business Development
- Prepare business planning, management reporting and other related ad-hoc requests relating to business development
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate potential hotel investments, including pro forma income statements, cash flow projections, and ROI calculations
- Prepare comprehensive feasibility studies that outline the viability of hotel projects based on market research, financial analysis, and site visits
- Provide recommendations on the optimal hotel positioning, brand selection, and operational strategy for maximizing returns and value
- Present feasibility findings and recommendations to senior management, investment committees, and other stakeholders
Requirement:
- Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Marketing, Hospitality or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Business Development / Real Estate role or in a Hospitality Management role or equivalent
- Excellent spoken and written English. Additional languages such as fluency in mother tongue is a plus.
- Excellent report-writing, financial modelling, and presentation preparation skills.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and PPT
