Job Responsibilities:
- Report to the project manager for the project site works
- Able to perform Risk assessment activities and tool box meeting for all stakeholders
- Responsible for site supervision and coordination of site works with other trades such as architectural or M&E works
- Co-ordinates daily activities of workers’ duties and to ensure that they are performed in a proper manner
- Liaise with clients/subcontractors/supplier
- Assists Project Manager in the co-ordination of project management effectively
- Attends all meetings with relevant stakeholders (workers customers,consultants, contractors etc)
- Assists Project Manager in carrying out all shop drawings and submission with Drafting Department
- Coordinate with construction team on the delivery of material and equipment as per site requirements.
- Work closely with other site operations staff to meet the project schedule,Ensure service delivery
- Collaborate with management to align activities with business objectives
- Site supervision of construction workers,Ensure site safety in accordance with safe work procedure
- Ensures all contractors are safety inducted and issued with Permit before work commencement
- Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
- Ensures the adherence to the safe work procedure (SWP) established
- Resolves site problems proactively in a timely manner and seeks advice from Project Manager/M&E Manager as appropriate.
- Ensures the timely preparation of project progress, updates, photos and on QA/QC Matters with reports with proper documentation
- Assists Project Manager in carrying out risk assessment activities and control Supervise the work of sub-contractors
- Makes daily checks on work progress, housekeeping and safety implementation on site with safety personnel.
- Any other duties as assigned (Project and Field)
Requirements:
- ITE / NTC, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma Certificate in Mechanical Refrigeration and Airconditioning Engineering or its equivalent Possess relevant trade certificate.
- Minimum 6 years relevant working experience in project coordination /Supervoiser/Experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of file management, transcription and other administrative procedures.
- Preferably with 5 years experience in construction ACMV industry Able to read and understand project drawings
- Class 3 Driving License Preferable & Experience in Microsoft office/PowerPoint, Excel must
- Able to work independently Industry related construction Must be able to read and understand drawings & word Min 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry Qualification
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team & Able to work on tight deadlines.
