Position
In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for an Intermediate to Business Analyst to join an IT team in charge of implementing Basel4 Program in Risk department.
The team handles the development of transversal and international projects.
Main responsibilities
Responsible for the functional knowledge
- Liaise with business for clarification and understanding of requirements
- Manage workshops with business to challenge the needs or explain new solutions
- Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints with technical lead’s help
- Explain and Work closely with the developers for the implementation of change/evolutions
Responsible for the functional testing of development
- Create tests and define tests strategy in coordination with project manager / Others Business Analysts
- Define the use cases to manage regarding the impact on business of new requirements
- Conduct continuous testing in development environment for development monitoring
Involvement and contribution to project management (Agile Methodology)
- Help project manager in Sprint planning based on capacity management & backlog management
- Help to monitor sprint progress by coordinating with developers on a daily basis using dashboard
- Help to manage KPIs to monitors project progress
- Proactive in managing the risks, alerting on the blockers and any possible delay in the project status
- Help in coordinates the delivery in production & non-production with the developers, technical architects and other business analysts
Involved in support of application for functional incident
- 3rd level support work on request escalated from level 2
- Reproduce, make first analysis and investigate verifying data on DB or GUI
- Analyze and/or solve functional problems in coordination with developers
Qualifications and Profile
- At least 7 years of business analyst experience
- Experience on Agile projects (Preferably as a Scrum Master) is strongly preferred
- Hands on testing process (writing, executing and monitoring test)
- Database testing with query writing for data comparison
- Strong analytic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and result oriented
- Sense of commitment
- Knowledge of all phases of IT system development and implementation life cycle
- Exposure on Agile and Waterfall project methodology
- Capable to effectively interact with Business team
- Capable to effectively interact with Technical team
- Team spirit - Like to explain and share knowledge
- Proactive with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical
- Technical experience or background to be comfortable with data models and SQL
- Experience with JIRA & JIRA XRAY
- Optional experience on API testing
Functional
- Financial/banking industry knowledge
- Specific knowledge in regulatory frameworks and requirements (Basel committee)
Nice to have: Agile scrum master or project management certification
