Position
In a challenging and multicultural environment, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join a IT team in charge of Finance IT. The team handles the development of transversal and international projects for Finance Domain in head office and locally.
Main responsibilities
Responsible for the functional knowledge:
- Write User stories/detailed specifications in line with the list of requirements provided
- Liaise with business for clarification and understanding of requirements
- Manage workshops with business to challenge the needs or explain new solutions
- Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints with technical lead’s help
- Explain and Work closely with the developers for the implementation of change/evolutions
Responsible for the functional testing of development:
- Create tests and define tests strategy in coordination with project manager / other Business Analysts
- Define the use cases to manage regarding the impact on business of new requirements
- Conduct continuous testing in development environment for development monitoring
Involved in support of application for functional incident:
- 3rd level support work on request escalated from level 2
- Reproduce, make first analysis and investigate verifying data on DB or GUI
- Analyze and/or solve functional problems in coordination with developers
Qualifications and Profile
- At least 4 years of business analyst experience
- Hands on testing process (writing, executing and monitoring test)
- Database testing with query writing for data comparison
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and result oriented
- Sense of commitment
- Knowledge of all phases of IT system development and implementation life cycle
- Exposure on Agile and Waterfall project methodology
- Experience on UML Diagram, Flowchart, data flow diagram
- Capable to effectively interact with Business team
- Capable to effectively interact with Technical team
- Team spirit - Like to explain and share knowledge
- Proactive with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Technical
- Technical experience or background to be comfortable with data models and SQL
- Optional experience on API testing
Functional
- Financial/banking industry knowledge
- Specific knowledge in Finance IT is a plus
