Responsibilities
- Design and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure (MPLS, ISP, ISDN)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create network solutions for VOIP, desktop, and video connectivity
- Implement and test security measures, including disaster recovery
- Follow change management procedures for network configurations
- Provide network designs and configurations to support teams
- Manage the refresh of outdated network hardware/software
- Be available for 24/7 rotational support
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering in medium to large organizations
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VOIP, IPSEC, and EIGRP
- Experience with network diagnostic tools like SolarWinds
- Familiarity with Cisco routers/switches, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, McAfee, and Fortinet firewalls
- Experience in IT infrastructure, network/server monitoring, and change management
- Experience in the payments industry is a plus
