Overview:
The Business Development Executive will act as a crucial link between the marketing and sales teams, ensuring a seamless transition from lead generation to sales acceptance. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in telesales, strong communication skills, and an understanding of B2B software and/or ERP software sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Outbound Prospecting:
- Identify new opportunities in target industries using tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, Hubspot etc.
- Qualify leads through outbound efforts such as cold calling, emails etc, to assess their potential as clients.
2. Collaborative Lead Generation and Upsell:
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute lead generation and customer upsell campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Use insights from marketing campaigns to identify and prioritise high-potential leads for follow-up.
3. Pipeline Management
- Manage and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and progression through the sales funnel and to the sales team.
- Provide regular reports on outreach activity and pipeline status to the Marketing Manager.
Qualification/Experience:
- Minimum Diploma in any field with minimum 2-year working experience.
- Prior experience in sales, telesales or customer service an advantage.
