- Oversee and coordinate the review process for LNGCs and VLGCs, ensuring effective management of all review activities.
- Offer technical expertise and support to stakeholders throughout the design phases.
- Evaluate and approve designs, plans, and technical specifications to ensure they meet newbuild requirements and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to risk assessments concerning the design of these gas carriers.
- Identify and address design issues, providing recommendations for enhancements and solutions.
- Guide or assist in choosing shipyards and manufacturers, focusing on the client's best interests.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in gas carrier technology and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Marine Engineering or similar
- Experience as a plan approval engineer for gas carrier projects
- Experience in newbuilding at site and site supervision and coordination or similar
