- Monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution systems (UPS, generators), HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and access control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on data centre equipment and systems.
- Respond to alarms, troubleshoot issues, and ensure prompt resolution.
- Liaise with the building landlord to coordinate maintenance schedules, address building infrastructure issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Support off-office hours activities, including responding to emergency alarms, performing on-call duties, and coordinating with vendors for emergency repairs.
- Ensure strict adherence to data centre physical security procedures.
- Follow documented incident response procedures, track incidents to closure, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Generate reports to management, including monthly performance reports, incident summaries, root cause analyses, and status reports on ongoing projects.
Qualifications: - Experience in data centre facility management.
- Experience working in a 24x7 mission-critical environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data centres.
- Experience with fire suppression systems and access control systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
