Responsibilities:
Ensure optimal performance and safety of data centre infrastructure through proactive maintenance, monitoring, and emergency response.
- Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure, including power, HVAC, and fire suppression systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and address issues promptly to avoid downtime.
- Respond to alarms and coordinate with vendors for emergency repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and physical security protocols within the data centre.
- Communicate incidents and performance reports to management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing electrical and mechanical systems, with excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a mission-critical environment.
Skills/Requirement:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data centre facility management.
- Proven experience in managing 24x7 mission-critical environments.
- Strong knowledge of data centre electrical and mechanical systems.
- Expertise in fire suppression, access control, and physical security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
