about the job
- Develop, build, test, and maintain data architectures, including databases, data warehouses, and large-scale data processing systems.
- Design and create data pipelines and systems for data modelling, mining, and production.
- Ensure the data architecture supports both routine and ad-hoc needs of the data analytics team, stakeholders, and the business.
- Utilize various programming languages and data processing tools to clean and optimize raw data for use in descriptive and predictive modelling.
- Recommend and implement strategies to enhance data quality, reliability, flexibility, and efficiency.
- Organize and manage data assets and catalogs to ensure information is easily accessible and retrievable.
- Perform PL/SQL and SQL tuning and optimization for both new and existing applications.
skills and experience required
- At least 3 years in data architecture, data warehousing, data processing, data modelling, and ETL/ELT, with a focus on real-time streaming solutions.
- Proficient in Oracle SQL/PLSQL. Experience with Kubernetes-based DevOps practices, including container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines.
- Skilled in Python, R, and SQL for data cleaning, and data processing.
