The Payment Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the payment ecosystem within the Zig. This role ensures secure, compliant, and efficient payment processing for customers and drivers, enhancing user experience while optimizing operational costs and mitigating risks.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement payment strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives
- Oversee daily payment operations, including transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting, ensuring high system uptime and performance
- Design and implement fraud prevention and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard transactions
- Ensure all payment processes comply with applicable regulations, such as PCI-DSS and AML laws, while managing the licensing process for payment services
- Work closely with engineering, product, and customer service teams to integrate and enhance payment-related features within the app
- Manage relationships with third-party payment vendors, ensuring efficient and cost-effective service delivery
- Analyze payment performance data, providing actionable insights and detailed reports on payment metrics, costs, and user behavior
- Continuously improve the payment process, reducing friction for riders and drivers, and expanding payment options to suit different markets
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields (Eg. Business Administration, Computer Science etc)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project/program management and 2 years working with Payments partners and systems
- Proficiency in payment processing technologies and platforms
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to analyze and interpret payment data to drive decision-making
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
