Job Overview

The Business Development Director will be responsible for leading the company’s business development and growth strategies. This role involves identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and overseeing the execution of business plans. The Business Development Director will work closely with the executive team to ensure that the company achieves its growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities

· Strategic Planning: Develop and execute business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.

· Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market opportunities including new products, services, and geographic expansion.

· Partnership Development: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulators.

· Business Development: Lead the business development team to drive sales and revenue growth.

· Financial management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to ensure alignment with business goals.

· Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture.

· Performance monitoring: Monitoring and analyze business performance metrics to identify area for improvement and implement corrective actions.

· Innovation: Drive innovation in business practices and product offerings to stay competitive in the market.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team to a align business strategies with overall company goals.


What we look for in you

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field; or MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

· Minimum 8 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.

· Proven track record of successful business operations management.

· Strong leadership and team management abilities.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· In-depth knowledge of the fintech industry and market trends.

· Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial management.

· Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
