Job Requirements: - Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. - At least 3 years' working experience in Construction and Engineering industries. - Proficient in Microsoft Office & Project and Primavera P6. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and good time management. We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer/Senior Planning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects while adhering to budget and quality standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using appropriate planning tools and techniques
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or issues, providing solutions to mitigate risks
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and updates to management and stakeholders
- Conduct feasibility studies and assist in resource allocation to optimize project delivery
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies throughout the planning process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling in the construction or engineering sector
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the industry
