We are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer specializing in Electrical/Data Center operations to join our team in the Data Centre / Engineering & Building Services industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management
- Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing offers from contractors
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing work estimates
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitors project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may arise
- Prepares and presents project status reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in the Data Centre or Engineering & Building Services industry
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, data center operations, and project management principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE) is a plus
