Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Consultant to join our team, focusing on delivering and supporting advanced security solutions. This role involves collaborating with sales and product teams, leading Proof-Of-Concept (POC) initiatives, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, with hands-on experience in industry-leading products.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales and product teams to ensure the seamless integration and alignment of technical solutions, with a primary focus on security technologies.
- Lead the execution of POC projects, develop comprehensive technical proposals, and deliver impactful presentations and workshops tailored to client needs.
- Offering pre-sales and post-sales technical support, which includes troubleshooting, optimizing deployments, and ensuring that the products perform as expected.
- Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies, especially in the realms of network security and access control. Recommend and implement innovative solutions, taking on additional projects as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Security Design Architecture, OSI and TCP/IP models, and Network Security protocols, with specific experience in products like those from Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, Aruba, BeyondTrust, and/or Forescout.
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical role within the IT Security domain, including work with firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and network access control (NAC).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proven experience with the above-mentioned product lines, applying them effectively in real-world scenarios.
