Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Pega BPM (Business Process Management) applications.
- Collaborate with functional and technical leads to fully understand assigned tasks.
- Implement new features with high quality, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage.
- Design class structures, application frameworks, and data models.
- Integrate business databases, legacy systems, and web services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, coding bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
- Align technical and application components with business requirements.
- Design, code, and test program modules according to specifications.
- Showcase and review new changes with team members.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to address challenges.
- Provide guidance, peer reviews, and coaching to team members.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis for new features.
- Proactively contribute innovative ideas for improvements.
- Evaluate, select, and recommend solutions for technical spike cards.
- Support the production environment and address escalated issues as needed.
- Implement Pega best practices and coding standards to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Continuously enhance skills and knowledge of the Pega platform and relevant technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with the Pega systems framework and a strong understanding of full lifecycle Pega implementations (Pega 8.x).
- Proven expertise in Pega rules components, including Case Management, Job Schedulers, Queue Processors, Listeners, DX API, UI, Activities and Flows, Declaratives, Decision, Validation, Reports, and Correspondences.
- Skilled in log analysis and performance tuning.
- Proficient with tools like Clipboard, Tracer, PLA, Alerts, and AES.
- Demonstrates responsibility with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Familiarity with Scrum Agile methodology and experience with Scrum-delivered projects.
- Certified as a Pega System Architect (8.x); Pega Senior System Architect (8.x) certification is preferred.
