Your Role:
As the Technical Manager at iCyber, you will lead a team of cybersecurity engineers, including Tenable, Splunk, Software and Field Engineers. You will drive project delivery across a variety of cybersecurity-related products and ensure the successful implementation of solutions for our clients. This role demands a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and strong leadership skills to guide a high-performing technical team.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Oversee a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high performance. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and ensure team alignment with business objectives.
Cybersecurity Expertise:
Serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity solutions, ensuring the team is equipped to handle challenges in Tenable, Splunk, and other cybersecurity systems. Work cross-functionally with pre-sales, post-sales, solution architects, and project management teams to deliver solutions tailored to customer needs.
Project Execution:
Lead the team in implementing and managing various cybersecurity projects, ensuring successful delivery and meeting customer expectations. Oversee the integration of products like Tenable and Splunk into customer environments and ensure system reliability and security.
Strategic Direction:
Set the team’s technical and strategic direction, aligning with business goals while staying updated on industry best practices and emerging trends. Ensure all cybersecurity solutions align with regulatory and compliance standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with other departments, including Sales, Operations, and Project Management, to ensure seamless execution of cybersecurity projects. Engage with clients as needed to ensure smooth project handovers and ongoing support.
Requirements:
At least 5 years in a technical leadership role managing diverse teams.
In-depth knowledge of:
Cybersecurity Solutions: Familiarity with products like Tenable, Splunk, and related cybersecurity systems.
Cloud and Network Architecture: Understanding of planning and implementing cloud-based cybersecurity solutions and designing complex network infrastructures.
Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including timelines, resources, and customer relationships.
DevOps and Automation: Knowledge of continuous integration, testing, and deployment practices.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing technical teams, guiding staff development, and ensuring project success.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain technical concepts in business terms.
Relevant industry certifications, such as CISSP, CSSLP, or PMP, are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on government cybersecurity projects, including governance, risk management, and compliance.
Strong familiarity with cybersecurity configuration management and automation tools.
