We are seeking a talented Backend Software Web Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application development and be skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend logic that powers our web-based platforms. As a Backend Software Web Developer, you will collaborate with frontend developers, Product Owners, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications. This role requires experience in server-side programming, database management, and API integration, along with a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for creating efficient and robust web solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the backend components of web applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Build and optimize database schemas and queries for performance and scalability.
- Implement APIs for third-party integrations and internal services.
- Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement features that enhance the user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend web development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, focusing on web applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and web services.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Experience with asynchronous operations or event-driven architectures is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferably has experience in Agile development or relevant SCRUM practices.
