- Manage the operational flow on deals done by Traders.
- Oversee and manage the loading of cargoes from the Middle East, Turkey, Libya and India for delivery to Far East destinations such as Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia.
- Prepare and vet contracts once traders have concluded deals, ensuring all terms and conditions are accurately reflected.
- Input and update information on trades executed by traders, providing timely updates on estimated costs that may be incurred.
- Liaise with the finance team to ensure Letters of Credit (LC) are in place prior to loading for trading barrels, and that buyers issue LCs before discharge.
- Monitor and ensure that chartered vessels meet the laycan at load ports and adhere to the delivery window at discharge ports.
- Coordinate with ship brokers and owners, providing voyage and discharge orders, and appointing reliable agents for both load and discharge ports to ensure smooth berthing progress.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure vessels arrive within the allocated laycan and terminals berth within the agreed loading window.
- Appoint surveyors for load and discharge ports, ensuring special requirements are met to satisfy customer needs.
- Arrange and coordinate ship-to-ship operations in Greece and Asia, handling all related activities as required.
- Handle cargo nominations and ensure proper stowage within the vessel’s tank segregation table.
- Coordinate closely with agents and receivers on berthing prospects and manage partial discharges to each receiver.
- Monitor vessel movements from loading through sailing to berthing at discharge ports.
- Prepare invoices and Letters of Indemnity (LOI) for receivers and arrange payments to suppliers.
- Optimize exposure to costs related to any berthing delays, providing support for suppliers from a commercial perspective.
- Maintain regular discussions with traders and the operations team to clarify operational issues and promote open communication.
- Optimize exposure costs for traders, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Use proficiency in Russian and Azerbaijani to facilitate communication with stakeholders in Eastern Europe and surrounding regions.
