Job Responsibilities:
· Oversee various test phases for the core banking and payment systems, including regression, integration, functional tests, and test automation.
· Possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Defect Life Cycle.
· Define functional test scenarios for core banking and payment systems.
· Take full responsibility for ensuring User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across all streams.
· Maintain up-to-date test libraries, including test scenarios and test cases.
· Collaborate with the SIT and UAT testing teams, review testing scenarios and test cases, and assist developers and testers with requirement-related queries.
· Record defects using a defect tracking tool, assign priority and severity, and escalate issues to management.
· Manage planning and maintain communication with stakeholders.
· Prepare regular reports on test results.
· Provide support to business users during User Acceptance Testing.
· Assist operations and business users in completing testing.
· Manage testing efforts when issues arise or progress is delayed.
· Lead defect management activities.
· Adhoc tasks and projects as assigned
Job Requirements
· Minimum Degree in a related discipline
· Minimum 4 years of bank related/ payments experience
· Able to start immediately or within short notice
