Responsibilities
- Advise and assist the Project Manager on environmental matters.
- Lead the site team in the implementation and monitoring of environmental control measures and plans.
- Organize environmental awareness activities to raise site awareness on pollution prevention, waste management, and other key areas.
- Actively conduct environmental risk assessments at project sites and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate risks to the environment.
- Establish a strong environmental management culture within the company to collectively achieve project environmental targets.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, environmental laws, and company environmental policies.
- Monitor and maintain site adherence to environmental quality standards, including noise, air, and water quality.
- Implement an Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with relevant ISO standards.
- Manage environmental audits on site to assess compliance with environmental policies and regulations.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirement
- Degree/Master in Engineering (HSE) or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience as ECO
- Registered ECO with NEA
- Familiar with constructions site safety inspections and regulations
- Good knowledge of OHSAS18001/ISO14001
- Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulous
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner
