Job Summary:
The QA Assistant supports the Quality Assurance (QA) team in ensuring that products meet established quality standards. This role involves conducting inspections, documenting results, and assisting with quality control processes to maintain product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection and Testing:Perform routine inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
Record and report inspection results and any defects or issues.
- Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA records and documentation.
Assist in preparing quality reports and maintaining databases.
- Compliance:Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
Support compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Support and Coordination:Assist QA team members in conducting audits and investigations.
Coordinate with other departments to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement:Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide suggestions for process enhancements.
Help maintain and update quality control procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or diploma in Quality Assurance or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a QA role or in a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not required.
- Skills:Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices.
Proficiency in using standard QA tools and equipment.
Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
