Responsibilities:
1. Maintenance and on-going review of Bank-wide BCM Policy, procedures, standards, guidelines, methodology and related work plans;
2. Coordinate periodic review of Bank-wide BIA/BCP;
3. Coordinate and prepare for Branch wide BCP exercise;
4. Guide and monitor the various departments to maintain and review of respective department BIA/BCP/DR and conduct BCP exercise as the second line of defences;
5. Act as BCM Committee Secretary, coordination of meeting, follow up action and reporting to BCMC/Senior Management.
6. Other BAU work: Branch wide training, ORM Advisory, HO and MAS reporting; and
7. Any other matters as instructed by Supervisor(s)/Line Manager(s).
8. Handle operational risk related ad-hoc projects with other team members when necessary.
Requirements:
1. University Degree Holder.
2. Professional Certification would be advantageous.
3. Familiar with the knowledge and MAS requirements, notices, guidelines related to BCM
4. In-depth understanding the MAS requirements on relevant incident reporting, notices, guidelines.
5. Able to provide advice on BCM and relevant MAS requirements.
6. Familiar with banking products
7. Able to work independently and work effectively with various stakeholders.
8.Strong attention to detail, analytical, and possess statistical skills.
9. .Dedicated and excellent multitasking skills. Excellent team work.
10. Good written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese as incumbent is required to understand Chinese documents from Head Office.
6. Minimum 5 years of banking experience including at least 3 years of Business Continuity Management related working experience in a Financial Institution will be preferred. Candidates with relevant Business Continuity Management experience but who do not meet the minimum years of banking experience may apply too.
