- Coordinate with EDPR Global Solutions on all loan administration matters, including covenant tracking through Appian, updating of loan schedules and changes to interest and drawdown/repayment amounts
- Work with business units to obtain information required to enter into and adjust loan agreements with EDPR SF
- Draft financing-related Proposals for Decisions (PfDs) in accordance with the Delegation of Authority matrix under the Finance Faculty
- Prepare regular updates on Board presentation, Financing Memo including updates to Cost of Debt Assumptions and other presentation slides as required
- Evaluate the optimal financing strategy for the countries assigned which involves coordination with business units including Accounting, Tax, M&A and Legal etc.
- Work with M&A for any new project due diligence, market assessment and valuation matters
- Any other financing matters that require coordination work with the various internal stakeholders
- Be the main liaison party with external lenders in the markets assigned, including attending to calls and meetings from/with banks
- Negotiate loan terms with external lenders under the direction from Headquarters
- Ensure requirements of lenders (technical, legal, insurance aspects, etc) are fulfilled to achieve financial close, including support of due diligence activities
- Perform loan drawdowns and tracking of drawdown and repayments with banks
- Track loan covenants and produce compliance certificates for lenders when necessary
Requirements:
- Degree in finance/Accountancy/Banking/Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 years relevant working experience, preferably in energy, electricity or renewables or other infrastructure projects
- Experience in closing debt and/or equity financing documents for infrastructure projects
- Meticulous, result oriented, and can work well under pressure
