Our Client is the world's largest Furniture Manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding.
- Advise management on various people-related matters, including workforce legislation, best practices, and manpower planning.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll management.
- Facilitate employee development through training and career advancement initiatives.
- Review and manage employee insurance and wellness programs.
- Act as a liaison with the Union on tripartite issues.
- Manage administrative functions for the Singapore office.
Requirement:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the retail industry.
- A hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in day-to-day tasks.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and practices in Singapore and Malaysia.
- The ability to work independently while being an effective team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with TimeSoft (an advantage).
- Previous experience in a Singapore-listed company (an advantage).
- The ability to make data-driven decisions to support continuous improvement.
