Human Resource Business Partner (APAC)

We are looking for a dynamic HRBP candidate to fill an urgent position for an esteemed MNC client in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field. They should be comfortable onboarding new candidates and collecting necessary background information as well as assisting employees while at work. This candidate should work independently and closely with management across the APAC region in order to provide training for employees and establish ways to increase employee engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process for employee across APAC countries


Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Hands-on and Involve in the entire employee lifecycle management
  • Handle employee grievances and provide guidance on HR policies and
  • procedures.
  • Involve in employee exit procedures such as terminations, disciplinaries, exit interviews,
  • Foster a positive working environment through employee engagement initiatives.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the implementation of performance management processes.
  • Support managers in conducting performance appraisals and developing
  • employee improvement plans.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed.

HR Policies and Procedures:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and legislative changes.
  • Good understanding of COMPASS guidelines and implementation for the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist and HRBP role.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in a multinational company or a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
