Key Responsibilities:
Sales Associate Duties:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their needs.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Maintain store presentation, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively and restocked as needed.
- Participate in sales promotions and initiatives to meet store sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Cashier Duties:
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
- Issue receipts and process returns or exchanges according to company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist in inventory management and restocking when needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
