This HR generalist role will be reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer. He / She will assist in HR projects as well as the following portfolio:
Training & Staff Engagement / Welfare
- Plan and provide learning administration for staff including course registration, maintenance of records, training bonds, etc.
- Maintain all training databases/documents.
- Plan, arrange and liaise with external vendors for training courses.
- Handle training-related matters with government and related agencies (including applications and claims of training grants).
- Plan the Annual Staff Engagement Calendar.
- Organize Staff Orientation, Wellness / Engagement activities eg. D&D, Team Bonding activities, etc.
- Implement Employee Satisfaction Survey.
Payroll / Compensation & Benefits
- Supervise and act as a backup to the payroll function and ensure timely salary inputs with accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personal data in InfoTech system, manage leave administration and prepare HR letters.
- Manage grants and funding claims.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly CPF payments, tax filing for both local and foreign employees.
- Prepare payroll journal for reporting.
- Prepare Annual Manpower Budget and Annual Increment & Bonus exercise.
- Handle yearly renewal for staff insurances, medical, etc.
- Assist with disciplinary and grievances handling as and when required.
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies for the organization.
- Undertake other HR functions and ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resource/Business or its equivalent.
- 5 years’ of experience in full spectrum of HR.
- Good knowledge of Employment Act and HR practices and regulations.
- Numeric, strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Hands on experience in Infotech / Frontier system an added advantage.
- Team player with good Communication and Writing skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications eg. Power point, Excel.
