We are seeking a motivated Finance and HR Executive to support both our finance and human resources functions. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to grow within the company, offering career advancement prospects. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in both finance and HR tasks. Familiarity with Xero and Singapore employment laws is a plus but not required, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance Duties:
● Verify daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
● Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing.
● Assist in the preparation and submission of GST returns.
● Ensure compliance with Singapore’s financial and tax regulations.
● Support budgeting, forecasting, and payroll processing activities.
● Collaborate with external parties, including auditors and corporate secretarial services.
● Assist with ad hoc finance projects and reporting needs.
HR Duties:
● Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
● Maintain and update employee records in accordance with company policies.
● Track employee leave and attendance records.
● Support the recruitment process, including posting job listings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
● Ensure compliance with Singapore employment laws and regulations.
● Assist with employee engagement activities and other HR-related tasks.
Requirements:
● Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
● Basic accounting knowledge is required; familiarity with Xero is a bonus (training will be provided).
● Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
● Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking.
● Familiarity with Singapore’s financial and employment laws (or willingness to learn).
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting and Talenox software is a plus.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Working Conditions:
● Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with remote work options.
