Job Scope

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers and prospect.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and prospects to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to customers.
  • Prepare and provide sales quotations to customers.
  • Negotiating contracts, the terms of an agreement and close sales.
  • Establish sales objectives through effective forecasting.
  • Providing support, information, and guidance to customers.
  • Set sales forecast, reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
  • Interfacing with vendors / suppliers and building up relationships.
  • Team player and able to work under fast-paced environment.
  • Assisting in implementing the sales strategy as set by the Sales manager, including strategies for encouraging repeat business and up-selling.
  • Collaborate with internal, including technical support and product development to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Up-keep of customers and partners/supplier’s database – updating where necessary.
  • Record the progress of all enquiries and translate into a monthly report as directed by the respective sales manager.
  • Ensure all customers are handled in customer-oriented manner.

Job Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of IT industry and its products and services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability and desire for sales job with a confident and determined approach.
  • Matured, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Should be capable of thriving in the competitive markets.
  • Highly Self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
  • Meticulous, detailed, resourceful and result oriented.
  • To work with high energy, self-responsibility and determination.
  • Be cost consciousness, positive and enthusiastic.
  • Be confident yet reassuring manner with clients always.
  • Be well-organized skill and persistence in completing tasks on time.
  • Be pleasant and highly customer oriented.
  • Be conscious and sensitive to business practices.
  • Be practical and realistic: Responds quickly to customers and demonstrates efficiency.
  • Good presentation skills and time management.
  • Good telephone and face-to-face personal skills are essential.

Other Skills

  • Privy to confidential information held on our databases and must exercise discretion.
  • Confident to deal with several things at any one time and constantly re-evaluate priorities.
  • A polished appearance is necessary when meeting with clients.
  • Occasional overtime may be required as per management’s request.
  • Bilingual, strong command of English and spoken mandarin would be advantageous.
