Summary:
As a Project Director, you will oversee and manage project execution, contract analysis, cost comparison, and operations. Your role involves organizing ad-hoc projects, ensuring contract compliance, and maintaining cost efficiency and operational effectiveness. Your leadership will drive successful project completion.
Roles:
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Review and appraise team members’ performance regularly.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee contract execution, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Conduct contract analysis for clarity and accuracy in deliverables and pricing.
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and issue resolution.
- Perform cost analysis, including budgeting and forecasting, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local and international counterparts, vendors, and partners.
- Facilitate communication between international teams and resolve operational challenges.
- Stay updated on market trends and industry best practices.
- Organize ad-hoc projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and timely completion.
- Develop project plans with goals, milestones, tasks, and resource requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems effectively.
- Participate in pre-sales activities when needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in ICT or Engineering (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering).
- Minimum of 15 years in business analysis and project management, with 8 years in LTA trainborne /communication systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven decision-making ability.
- Knowledge of project management, governance, and audit.
- Understanding of LTA project safety requirements.
- Excellent in multi-stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of handling multiple projects.
- Ability to adapt quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical expertise relevant to the projects.
- Proactive, self-motivated, with high energy and team leadership abilities.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and people engagement skills.
