We are looking for a motivated and resourceful Pharmacist to join our team. In this role, you will manage the procurement of pharmaceutical products and related services. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and coordinating shipments to meet quality and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers for pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from RFQs to purchase orders.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve the best value for the company.
- Work closely with the logistics team to manage shipping schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels, avoiding stockouts or overstock situations.
- Research and identify sales opportunities, developing new project leads and soliciting new accounts.
- Keep accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier management. Knowledge of shipping logistics is a plus.
- Must be a Registered Pharmacist in Singapore.
