The Opportunity
- Opporunity to work with a Global MNC in the FMCG industry, and you will be will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a specific category and channel. This includes developing and implementing strategies to maximize profitability, drive sales, and meet business objectives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (Distributors/Trade) to ensure the success of the assigned category & channel.

- Location: Central West
- 6 months contract
The Talent:
- Degree or Professional qualification in Business / Marketing or related studies
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in similar capacity in FMCG or retail industry highly preferred
- Project management skill
- Strong communication skill
- Analytical and data savvy
- Passion for beauty, fashion and trend
The Job:
- Oversee a specific category and channel, developing and implementing strategies to maximize profitability, drive sales, and achieve business objectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders (Distributors/Trade) to ensure the success of the assigned category and channel.Create and implement a comprehensive strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Collaborate with the Consumer Shopper Understanding team for market research to identify trends and competitive landscape.
- Translate insights into in-store drivers using the Category Shopper Playbook to guide the Category & Channel plan across markets.
- Analyze sales data and performance metrics to enhance category and channel performance, including share and price movements.
- Identify opportunities and areas for improvement based on monthly analyses and share findings with relevant stakeholders.
- Determine product assortment based on market demand and company objectives.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to introduce new products, including developing volume assumptions and business cases.
- Provide launch guidelines such as planogram recommendations and selling insights, while managing the lifecycle of existing products.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Consumer Insight, and Finance to achieve overall business goals.
- Communicate category insights and updates to stakeholders and implement corrective actions as necessary.
