Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and inspect the installation, testing, and commissioning of gensets (2.5 – 5 MVA) and frequency converters on-site.
- Review and interpret project plans, electrical diagrams, and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and contractors to address and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on work progress, compliance, and any deviations from the plans.
- Ensure all electrical installation activities comply with relevant local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all site activities, inspections, and incidents.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the site team, ensuring best practices are followed.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power systems engineering, with specific experience in gensets (2.5 – 5 MVA) and frequency converters.
- Certified Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with accreditation from the Singapore Institute of Engineers (IES) or other relevant bodies.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
