Our Client is in the Aerospace Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Manufacturing Leader to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the West.
Responsibility
- Lead and motivate the production team in machining and assembling precision parts to meet customer demands.
- Oversee hiring, performance management, training, and coaching, aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure a safe and organized workplace, maintaining 6S standards.
- Manage daily production, capacity planning, and machine optimization.
- Support Lean/Kaizen initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth process flow.
- Accurately update the ERP system and track production.
- Monitor consumable spending, delivery metrics, capacity planning, TPM, and OEE.
- Conduct regular team meetings and foster a positive, motivated work environment.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters fairly and promptly.
- Manage attendance, leave schedules, overtime, and performance reviews within statutory limits.
- Identify ways to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Any ad-hoc duty as given
Requirement
- Min Degree in Aerospace or Engineering
- Min 3 – 5 years’ experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Environment
- Experience in managing Technicians
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge in Lean manufacturing methodology.
- Knowledge in CNC machining and CNC programming is an added bonus
