• Account managing strategic CET partners to develop capabilities;
• Working with strategic partners to plan and support sectoral manpower development needs that are aligned with the Industry Transformation Maps and Jobs Transformation Map;

• This job role reports to a Team Lead in the division. The candidate will be part of an industry engagement and development team to perform the following key tasks and any other tasks as assigned by his/her supervisor(s):
• Intelligence Gathering and Market Analysis
• Gather access to market intelligence on industry trends and manage CET supply to meet jobs and skills demand of the economy;
• Identify and bring in Best-in-Class training partners and enterprises to address capability gaps, especially in priority and emerging skills areas;
• Work with strategic partners such as industry associations, government agencies, unions and enterprises to plan and implement workforce development plans identified in the Industry Transformation Maps;

Stakeholders’ Engagement

• Collaborate with relevant Divisions to implement, manage and evaluate programmes/schemes outcomes;
• Work with external stakeholders (e.g. industry associations, unions, training providers) and government agencies to outreach to Singapore-based enterprises to identify their manpower development needs and implement strategies support enterprises’ workforce transformation efforts;

Account Management and Partnership Management

• Identify, appoint/renew and engage enterprises and strategic training partners to support other national initiatives.
• Perform contract management activities such negotiating scope of partnership with training partners, preparing budget proposals, managing contract sign-offs, handling grant disbursement and other administrative matters; and
• Conduct and monitor periodic reporting of training partners’ efforts and programme outcomes.

What we are looking for

• Tertiary qualification
• Up to 7 years of industry engagement and development, business development and account management experience. Having work experience in Modern Services Cluster such as Infocomm Technology, Media, Financial Services or Professional Services industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and conceptual ability
• Comfortable and adept at collating, managing, analysing and presenting data
• Good writing, communication and digital literacy skills
• Proven networking and negotiation skills, and can engage with stakeholders across all levels
• Keen appreciation on industry development and workforce skills development issues
• A team player who is resilient, resourceful, adaptable and an agile learner, and can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to achieve outcomes in multiple projects

What you will be working on

1. Designing and implementing processes to systematically discover opportunities where business processes could be further optimised and digitalised
2. Working with such business owners to map and analyse their current processes and workflows
3. Co-creating more optimal workflows and processes with such business owners, including simplification of operations and/or policy where suitable
4. Co-creating digital solution proofs of concept (POCs) with such business owners where suitable

Job Description:

• Ensure delivery of high-quality services and operational efficiency across all graduate programmes.
• Oversee the planning, execution and management of administrative and logistic operations for experiential learning courses conducted overseas in a timely and cost-effective manner (if any).
• Oversee the annual budget submissions and ensure effective tracking and monitoring of the allocated budgets for all graduate programmes.
• Work closely with the Assistant Chair/Associate Chair and Assistant Director to develop, implement and review administrative and student support systems, increase the quality of the programmes and student satisfaction.
• Ensure that staff (if any) within the graduate team are familiar with policies on academic and student matters and ensure consistency in administering such processes across all the graduate
  programmes.
• Oversee teaching assignment submission, management of timetabling, and exam matters for all graduate programmes.
• Coordinate and collate data or reports on graduate programmes as required for school, College or departments.
• Maintain rapport with both internal (i.e., Programme Directors, faculty and part-timers teaching in the programme, Office of Admissions, Office of Academic Services, Office of Finance, Graduate College etc) and external stakeholders (e.g. students, alumni, external organisations, vendors).
• Serve as the key point of contact for postgraduate coursework students, providing essential support and guidance on all programme-related matters
• Ensure efficient administration of Student Recruitment, Student Admission/matriculation procedures, and the GE teaching schedule while assisting faculty and students in completing the diverse academic-related processes in compliance with the policies and guidelines.
• Provide support and liaise with faculty/other schools/external professors on programme mentorship/in supervisory role for MA and PhD thesis processing, evaluation, and submission processes.
• Provide administrative support for engaging part-time teaching staff.
• Manage facilities booking for teaching purposes
• Other administrative support assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Recognised degree in any discipline with a minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an academic administrative role in a tertiary institution.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver with quality and timelines.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
