Happy Tutors Learning Centre is a Social Enterprise looking to offer the highest quality bespoke education services to every student in Singapore. We have 6 centres spanning the East and West of Singapore.

We are looking for passionate tutors who are keen to work with students and help them in their school curriculum. Our centre is focused on customised learning and the tutor needs to be able to adapt their teaching to different learning styles.

Job Scope

• Review student’s curriculum and syllabus and answer their doubts regarding those topics.
• Assist the students in the understanding of key concepts being taught in school.
• Guide them in tests and exams preparations.
• Provide students with corrective feedbacks.
• Develop new learning materials for the centre’s distribution to our students.
• Assist in the centre's operations in other matters.
• Contribute to the learning programmes offered by the centre.

What We Are Looking For

The Design Project Manager (DPM) is instrumental in overseeing the development and execution of precision component design projects, from mold design conception to completion. This role requires a blend of design expertise, project management skills, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the final product meets client specifications and aligns with business objectives. The DPM will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documentation, managing project timelines, resources, and budgets, and facilitating effective communication among cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through production, ensuring the product aligns with client specifications and business objectives.
• Oversee Design for Manufacturing (DFM) preparation and review, working closely with customers to secure approvals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure the development of high-quality precision components.
• Coordinate with overseas teams to manage project timelines and deliver results on time, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
• Manage project resources, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure timely project completion.
• Supervise precision toolmaking processes and ensure that high-quality Molds are designed and manufactured to meet stringent specifications.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, ensuring project transparency and alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Engineering or relevant polytechnic qualification; experience in design will also be considered.
• Experience: 12-15 years of experience in core design, product development, and industrialization.
• Tools: Strong skills in NX CAD and proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Good to Have: Education in Project Management and proficiency in project management tools.

Key Competencies

• Technical Expertise: Strong experience in NX Mold design and the ability to create precise, efficient mold designs.
• DFM Proficiency: Skilled in Design for Manufacturing (DFM) preparation and review using MS Office tools to ensure manufacturability and alignment with client requirements.
• Processing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of injection Molding, rubber compression, MIM, and LSR Molding processes.
• Moldflow Analysis: Competent in Moldflow simulation to predict and resolve potential manufacturing issues early in the design phase.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to analyse design and production challenges, ensuring precision and quality in final products.
• Time Management: Capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring that every aspect of the project aligns with quality standards and client specifications.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Travel : Able to travel globally across our plants for projects & for customer meetings.
