• Plan and manage the resource allocation for the projects for which you are the lead together with the resource managers
• Manage the performance of own team members including those of external partners if assigned to the project. Plan the workload and resource allocations for all team members through all project phases
• Prepare manhour estimates and support project planning as required
• Work with the PM / EM in developing the project baseline (cost, schedule and execution plan) provide comments to the baseline documents as required
• Establish proper controls and monitor progress to ensure project execution is in line with the baseline
• Ensure that project deliverables for each phase are prepared in a timely manner
• Prepare purchase requisitions, perform technical evaluations and participate in contract negotiations with suppliers and contractors
• Perform technical expediting related to our deliveries
• Provide engineering support in resolving site queries and site issues
• Participate as automation construction supervisor for automation works at site during turnarounds and shutdowns. Conduct field supervision to supervise the works being carried out by the construction
• contractors through Quality Checks (QC). Perform SAT on automation systems per project scope
• Participate in mechanical completion walk downs and Pre-startup safety reviews, Post startup reviews, lessons learnt sessions, project closeout

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's engineering degree in instrumentation, or similar
• Proven experience of at least 15 years on a similar job, with 5 years in a lead role, preferably also inside the fence of industrial clients
• Strong focus on project delivery skills, developing new ways of working and driving change are close to your heart
