Our Recommendation Architecture Team is responsible for building up and optimizing the architecture for recommendation system to provide the most stable and best experience for our TikTok users. We cover almost all short-text recommendation scenarios in TikTok, such as search suggestions, the video-related search bar, and comment entities. This position is with TikTok's Stability Assurance Team. The team is responsible for ensuring that the services provided by TikTok are highly reliable with low-latency. Reliability assurance is complex and systematic, for any massive application system. We focus on optimizing the application architecture from end to end, driven by data analysis and aim at automatic and intelligent failure recovery.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for system architecture optimization, performance enhancement, and stability construction for TikTok's short video business scenarios.

2. Participate in foundational work such as business disaster recovery, degradation, change control, and incident troubleshooting.

3. Analyze and deeply explore the shortcomings of existing systems, pinpoint system bottlenecks, and improve system performance and stability.

4. Introduce new technologies and solutions to the team based on actual business needs.

5. Utilize excellent project management and coordination skills to advance key cross-team projects.

Minimum Qualification

- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or software engineering

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java/Golang/Python, etc.) with good coding habits and style. - Over 5 years of experience in business development, involvement in the architecture design of core products' online business, and organization of medium or large-scale projects.

- Proficient in server-side development technologies and general components, including but not limited to storage, caching, RPC, MQ, and microservices.

Preferred Qualification

- Rich experience in architecture design, with the ability to accurately and comprehensively understand the business and design reasonable architecture solutions based on business development.

• Construct technical solutions for specific project related problem such as repairing damage, towing connections, lifting and pulling plans.
