As the Senior Software Engineering Manager for Private Equity & Real Estate Technology, you will lead a dynamic team of full-stack engineers in designing, building, deploying, testing, and supporting applications and related services hosted on AWS. We are seeking an individual with architectural technical experience for the position of Mechanical Project Engineer at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations.  The candidate will work directly with the Mechanical Project Manager and the subcontractors throughout the six-year design and construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the Mechanical Project Manager, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required such as submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc are complete, ready and approved for Mechanical Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working with the Mechanical Project Manager who is managing the Mechanical Subcontractor field operations and installation details for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.  

It is expected the candidate will be a very detail-oriented individual with previous experience working as an Mechanical Project Engineer on data center projects and or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field are in compliance with such documents.  The candidate must have strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, subcontractors of all tiers, vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

• Managing financial servicing for a portfolio of RE clients ensuring the smooth running of day to day relationship with clients and consistent delivery of client reporting/ information accurately and on time

Client Delivery

• Plan workloads and utilise support team / additional resources where necessary to ensure deadlines are achieved
• Ensure reconciled cash balances are maintained for clients at all times.

IQ-EQ Fee Management

• Ensure our electronic time sheets are completed daily, and accurately for all hours worked and recording ad hoc work completed for billing purposes
