As Senior Executive at the Office of Associate Chair (Students) of the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) focuses on student care and wellbeing. The key purposes are to enhance the wellbeing, development experience of CEE students. 

The key responsibilities encompass the following:

• Coordinate with stakeholders to align care and support for CEE undergraduate students.

• Periodic monitoring and meeting with students who face wellbeing problems, as well as working with other NTU stakeholders. 

• Take charge of administrative matters that support the student leadership and mentorship for undergraduate students.

Overview

The Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD) was established in 2017 with funding from the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE). Hosted at the National Institute of Education (NIE), the CRCD conducts studies focusing on factors that influence the course of development from infancy through middle childhood. The Centre is interested in candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Testing, measurement, psychometrics

Responsibilities:

• Perform all imaging procedures ranging from MRI, EEG, fNIRS and MEG (structural MRI, functional MRI, MEG data collection, etc.) in accordance to standards described in SOP and guidelines

• Explain procedures to research subject, and ensure consent forms and screening forms were duly signed and documented

• To obtain high quality images, including safety instructions to subjects, safe and precise positioning of subjects in the scanners, safe and precise positioning of accessories

NTU Shared Services (NSS) is a centralized unit within Nanyang Technological University (NTU) that provides a wide range of administrative, operational, and support services to various departments and units within the university. Its primary goal is to streamline and optimize processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver high-quality services to support NTU's core mission of education and research.

The NSS Technical Support Executive is responsible for providing effective IT/AV technical support role, in relation to the generic desktop/ laptop PCs, mobile devices, Audio Visual (AV) equipment, as well as NTU campus software. This includes problem diagnosis, configuration, installation, and general troubleshooting of IT/AV systems and applications, adhering closely to the Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) and policies set by the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site Level 1 & 2 Support in relation to IT/AV- related service disruptions at the Common Teaching Facilities (Lecture Theatres, Tutorial Rooms and Meeting Rooms), One Stop Tech Lounge and Schools/Faculties.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot IT/AV equipment faults and application errors, to restore service provision.

• Troubleshoot technical problems of low to medium complexity, resolution to resolve these incidents.

This role in University Wellbeing Office (UWO) provides leadership in the provision of professional counselling services and psychological services in NTU to support and promote the psychological wellbeing of the OneNTU community (comprising about 33,000 students and over 7,500 employees). It leads a team of professional counsellors and psychologists and ensures that the wellbeing needs of NTU and service users are effectively met. Through the campus community approach, the role also synergizes and manages the all-round care and support efforts in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.  

As a key leader in the University Wellbeing Office (UWO), this role provides strategic support and professional inputs that contribute towards NTU’s overall wellbeing vision, strategy and agenda.

• Lead and manage the University Counselling Centre (UCC) in its provision of professional counselling and psychological services to ensure the wellbeing needs of NTU’s community are effectively met.

The Assistant Manager, as a member of NTU Shared Services (NSS) IT Team, is responsible for overseeing Service Desk operations, leading initiatives to enhance and optimize Access Control requests to ensure exceptional service delivery. The candidate shall understand service fulfillment process and identify opportunities for improvements through process re-design, automation development or system improvements.
