Job Title: Operations Support Officer (Nutrition Food Science Department)
Location: Bartley Secondary School, 10 Jalan Bunga Rampai, Singapore 538403
Contract Period: 1 January 2025 – 31 December 2025

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break), except Wednesday
• Wednesdays: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
• Note: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays unless it is a special school event.

Scope of Services:

The Operations Support Officer will be responsible for the following tasks within the Nutrition Food Science Department:

• Assisting teachers with ordering goods and food preparation for lessons.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the workroom and ensuring food is prepared safely.
• Housekeeping duties related to the department’s daily operations.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum GCE N Level or equivalent.
• Preferably one year of work experience in a school environment.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Basic computer skills for administration tasks.

The Services required are set out as follows:

• Supporting minor maintenance and decoration of the school
• Providing support to staff on all matters relating to eco-learning and recycle art matters.
• Perform minor repair works
• Operating and maintaining basic office equipment and materials
• Taking on additional or ad-hoc duties assigned by the Authority

Job Description:

• Support start-up, contract maintenance and other service activities with emphasis on safety and protection.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance works and to carry out warranty repairs.
• Participate in service and repair of gas detectors, safety activities, emergency response, breakdown calls and ad hoc projects.
• Ensure equipment turnaround and breakdown responses are achieved at optimal level of efficiency.
• Manage all orders efficiently until fulfilment stage, by working closely with Service team.
• Liaison with relevant parties such as customers, service supervisor, coordinators and logistic pertaining to queries, technical issues, status and deliveries.
• To participate/take up Workplace Safety & Health responsibilities/ activities as per requested by the company.

Job Requirements:

• NTC2 or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Process Instrumentation / /Mechatronics Engineering
• Preferably 3-5 years’ experience in service/engineering position in Oil & Gas / Process industry
