• Working Location: North East (Transport provided)
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 6 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $3700 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment, machinery, and products.
• Provide prompt and effective technical support to resolve customer issues.
• Liaise with customers and technicians to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of machinery, conducting regular safety checks.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities and report to Managers.
• Adhere to and enforce strict safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Any other task as assigned by the Superior.

• A Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO).
• Knowledge & skill in mechanical and hydraulic.

SERVICE ENGINEER

Main Duties

The ideal candidate will be involved with equipment installation, after-sales services such as calibration, certification and preventive maintenance, and service documentation and reports. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, independent, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Field service support for Esco products

· Handle all breakdown calls in the earliest response time

· Ensure high level of customer satisfaction and effectively manage customer expectations

· Prepare field service reports and related documentation.

· Monitors repairs and maintenance activities to ensure operational efficiency and to target required hours for machine repair

· Responsible for decisions when to instigate the escalation process in order to resolve a customer concern/issue.

· Perform troubleshooting, commissioning, certification of units promoted

· Provides effective teamwork, building a strong relationship with customer contacts

· Carry out hands-on training for field service organizations internationally when needed

The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:

· Diploma or Degree in Engineering

· With at least one (1) year working experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting

· Good command of spoken and written English

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills

· Willing to travel locally and abroad

Our client is a Singapore based Scientific and Medical devices provider with presence in Southeast Asia region. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Product Specialist to join their Sales Team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the South area – easily accessible.

Duties of Field Service Engineer:

• Deliver after-sales support, including installation, commissioning, and maintenance of laboratory and research equipment.
• Offer technical guidance and consultation to clients.
• Address and resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
• Compile and submit detailed service reports.

Requirements:

• NITEC / Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
• 1 - 2 years experience in life science industry
• Possess vaild Class 3 drving license and own transport is an added advantage
