Responsibilities:

• Handle all communications and documentations in regards to Town Council matters.
• Maintain records and files and ensure they are organised.
• Ensure that the particulars of tenants and property owners are up to date.
• Follow the directives of the Town Council and manage insurance plicies
• Notify the Town Council when any notices are served from government bodies.
• Manage common property and facilities usage and grant approvals when needed.
• Issue notices to property owners, tenants or other uses where breaches in Town Council bylaws occur.
• Facilitate applications and liase with government departments where official approval is needed.
• Manage applications, permits, waivers, and handle appeals, making sure they align with the Town Council standards.

Requirements:

• Min GCE O Level in any field with 1 year of administrative support experience
• Has an eye for detail and possess a dynamic, committed attitude with strong sense of initiative
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working hours : Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, Alternate Sat 8.30am to 12pm (5.25 days work week)

Job Responsibilities:

• Retrieval of new transport requests
• Updating database on the new transport requests
• Creation of WhatsApp chatgroups with the details of requests for CPO’s confirmation
• Maintaining and updating weekly transport schedule
• On standby to fetch children aged one to 18, including those with special needs, behavioural issues, etc, for the purpose of the child’s schooling, medical/psychological assessments, and appointments and access with parents.

Assist with other admin work and ad-hoc duties which may be assigned by supervisor

Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to assist with the daily operations of shipping and freight forwarding services.

What Will You Do

• To attend to customers' and agents' inquiries and complaints.
• To arrange trucks and collection of cargo.
• To prepare booking and shipping documentation.
• To coordinate and monitor shipments with carriers and clients.
• To process custom permit.
• Ensure all cargoes are in good condition and if any damage shall revert to customer.
• To inform the shipper of any changes in vessel details or delay in arrival date.
• To assist with billing and closing jobs.
• To support all aspects of sales and operational activities.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What Do We Want

• At least a Diploma in Logistic or Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Freight Forwarding or Shipping industry.
• Good knowledge in MS Office applications, Permit, Portnet.
• Have knowledge in shipping systems, eg. online booking, declaring custom permit.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
