Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical consulting, pre-sales and post-sales support to clients and partners.
• Explore new and existing cryptography-related technologies and assess their suitability for deployment.
• Responsible for technical and administrative activities which will include project planning, system implementation, preventive maintenance, documentation and system migration.
• Support and assist day-to-day operations of IT Department and Data Centre - Helpdesk, Desktop, Server, Networking, IT Procurement, and Projects.
• Participate in planning, installation, testing and implementation of IT infrastructure for roll-out of new/existing projects. Plan capacity for hardware, software and resources, and drives delivery excellence for managed services.
• Liaise with external vendors for IT-related issues.

• At least a Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or its related discipline.

• Applicants with Information Security Background in at least 1 domain (Cryptography, Network, Firewall) is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Anti-malware (Trend Micro) is a plus.

We are currently looking for a Senior IT Service Desk Specialist to join our Singapore team on a 12 month fixed term contract

What you'll be doing

The Specialist will be responsible for providing a high-quality level of customer service whilst assisting their colleagues globally with IT Support.

They will play an integral part in providing troubleshooting support and solutions to keep the business running smoothly.

The Singapore team operates on various shifts to ensure there is availability between 8am and 8pm (Monday to Friday).

Who you'll be working with

The successful individual will report in to the Head of IT Services (Cayman) and will work closely with the Service Desk Team Leader and two Service Desk Specialists who are all located in Singapore.

They will also collaborate and be supported by colleagues based globally within the IT Department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all contact to the Service Desk is recorded in our ITSM tool and tickets are triaged appropriately
• Manage your queue to ensure that you remain organised, and colleagues being supported by you are kept informed on the progress of their ticket, assist team mates globally during off-peak times.
• Joiner, Mover and Leaver account administration
• Be on alert for service outages, degradations, or bugs that should be raised as a Problem ticket
• Contribution to the IT Knowledge Base with any updates to solutions or workarounds
• Providing communications to the business about any problems that may impact them
• Assisting the team lead with ad-hoc duties

You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and providing administrative support, including the following job responsibilities:

· Greet Prospects and Clients in a warm and friendly manner, and answer enquiries promptly.

· Collect new or outstanding billing and payment from Client.

· Print and hand over service invoice accurately.

· Call Clients, to book, remind and follow up on appointments.

· Answer all incoming calls promptly, and record call details accurately.

· Any other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor or Management.

Requirements:

· Minimum 1 years of administrative experience, as a clerk or receptionist.

· Minimum a Nitec in any discipline.

· Well-groomed, courteous and meticulous.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Able to correspond with English and Mandarin speaking clients.

Job Description:

1. Plan the maintenance schedule and ensure that the work schedules are executed as planned.

2. Review and check the service reports and ensure the information is accurate for the purposes of quotation submission or invoicing for completed works or following up action if required rectification works.

3. Assign tasks to the team when there are breakdown calls from the clients.

4. Monitor and follow up on procurement of parts.

5. Ensure the sub-con workers follow proper work processes.

6. Perform price negotiation to meet the budget.

7. Ensure the spare parts / equipment are always maintaining at the minimum stock inventory level.

8. Provide supervision to the Engineers and Technicians for day-to-day work activities.

9. Follow up payment from the customers.

10. Forecast future manpower needs to ensure there is sufficient manpower to perform the assigned tasks.

11. Co-ordinate with the project teams for projects handover.

12. Arrange and conduct training for the staff.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree in Engineering.

2. At least 3 years of work experience in BMS or ELV.

3. Good management Skills.

4. Pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills and able to build and maintain a positive relationship with customer satisfaction.
