Job Description

Overview

The Marine Parade Community Space Ltd (MPCSL) is a charity and Institute of a Public Character established to look after vulnerable residents in Marine Parade. Its main role is to run the upcoming Marine Parade Community Care Hub, a social service Hub that will be operation in late 2025.

The Head, Caregiver Support Network (CSN) will oversee the running and development of the CSN programme which was launched in 2022 to look after caregivers in the community. The CSN programme is a programme of MPCSL.

IT Helpdesk Engineer (Temp)

Work Location: Downtown Core, Singapore

Job Type: 1-month service contract, subject to renewal

About the Role:

This role is crucial to maintaining smooth IT operations during the absence of a regular team member. The candidate will provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot IT-related issues, and ensure seamless service for internal stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

· Respond to IT service requests via email, phone, or in-person, ensuring timely resolution.

· Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.

· Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions in systems like Active Directory.

· Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and support activities.

· Assist with system updates, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting network connectivity.

· Coordinate with senior IT staff or external vendors for issue escalation.

· Support IT projects and perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the IT team.

· Any other ancillary tasks or works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

Job Requirements:

· At least 3 years of experience in IT helpdesk or technical support roles.

· Proficiency in Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.

· Hands-on experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.

· Familiarity with PC troubleshooting, Trend Micro support, and Microsoft Outlook issue resolution.

· Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple requests efficiently.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of Privileged Identity Access Management (PIAM), including patching, policy configuration, and onboarding of privileged accounts.
2. Conduct regular evaluations of the PIAM tool, suggest improvements, and optimize it as needed.
3. Collaborate with the InfoSec team to enforce access policies and carry out regular recertification checks in alignment with established processes.
4. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational procedures and system configurations.
5. Provide technical expertise to promptly respond to and remediate PIAM-related operational issues.
6. Support operational activities as needed and promote the adoption of identity and access management practices aligned with the company’s Zero Trust Architecture Framework and privileged access management policies.

Qualifications/Skills:

1. At least 3 years of experience in Information Security, with a minimum of 1 year focusing on Privileged Access Management (PAM). Hands-on experience with Safeguard is preferred. Candidates with over 3 years of hands-on experience may be considered for an Engineer role.
2. Strong knowledge of Identity and privileged constructs within on-premises environments. Experience with cloud environments is an added advantage.
3. Solid understanding of LDAP, directory services, application servers, databases, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
4. Diploma or Degree in IT or a related computing field.
5. Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with minimal oversight within a team and across domains.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Adaptable to changes and flexible in handling dynamic challenges.
