Crystal Learning Centre is an adult language school in Orchard (a 6-minute walk from Dhoby Ghaut or Somerset MRT station). We are seeking a part-time receptionist to occupy certain hours in the centre. Full-time students are available in the afternoon and are welcome to apply for this position.

• You will man the reception counter to assist with students' enquiries, direct trainers to their classrooms, and provide general administrative service.

• Your working hours will be from 2.30 - 7.30pm four days a week (Thursday/Friday and Monday/Tuesday).

Contract duration: 1 year (renewable**)

Salary: Up to $3000

Working hours: Mon - Fri (8am - 5pm / 9am - 6pm)

Work Location: Harbourfront & Kent Ridge

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office and directing them appropriately.
• Ensure refreshments is available for guests
• Direct them to the waiting area while waiting for personnel to arrive
• Direct or escort guests or visitors to specific areas
• Notifies company personnel of visitor’s arrival via Teams messenger
• Keeps a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Replenish and ensure sufficient stocks of stationeries, pantries & sundries items
• Maintaining cleanliness of the storeroom and stationery cupboards
• Liaising with office services like cleaners and maintenance service providers
• Handle all incoming and outgoing correspondence in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
• Import and Export of parcels
• Liaising with courier personnel for any inquiries from stakeholders
• Raise courier collection in PowerApps
• Issuance of new joiner welcome pack
• Locker management
• Collection of letters from mailbox, sorting and distributing mail on a weekly basis
• Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum diploma
• Prior experience in receptionist/admin duties will be preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to commit to rotate between Harbour Front & Kent Ridge
