Job Purpose:
This role requires strategic capabilities and launch preparation business acumen together with leadership to ensure benchmark setting launches are achieved for new assets across the Greater China and Intercontinental (GCI) region. Given later stage of assets in development business now requires thorough bottom-up evaluation, workstream interrogation with clear strategies and tactics to deliver superior launches.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Drive and support evidence-based patient journeys, patient potential towers, opportunity evaluations, financial and sales forecasting across markets
- Define the regional strategy in close cooperation with global assets team and with regional partners. Prepare operational plans and ensure strong evidence generation working close with Value Evidence and Outcomes (VEO) team, medical and government affairs.
- Assess and propose structural/resource/investment/additional project requirements in Local Operating Companies (LOC) or region needed to drive efforts for the best launch
- Lead detailed workstream launch readiness process for all markets
- Work as a key Medicine Commercial Team (MCT) member to ensure the global strategy reflects the needs of the priority GCI markets
- Ensure engagement across the matrix globally and regionally to drive excellence in every facet of work in this Therapeutic Area (TA)

- Minimum 8 years’ experience in healthcare, in pharmaceutical (medical or marketing background) including demonstration of leadership in global roles with proven delivery record with business objectives/projects
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- A combination of proven leadership, experience in/understanding of specialty care business and strong matrix management are key to success in this role as is the understanding of markets, ways of working and cultural considerations.
